About Me

Hi, I’m Steve, and for as long as I can recall I have been somewhat of a curious type and an armchair tinkerer. The common themes in my interests over the years tend to be rooted in organic gardening, nature, science, technology, and sustainability.

I also have some very unique hobbies that may be of interest to you. Some of my favorites are growing carnivorous plants, as well as growing fruits and vegetables in containers.

I also enjoy listening to police scanners and communications receivers.

Over the years I have also enjoyed fish-keeping and have maintained freshwater, saltwater reef, and betta aquariums.

You see these are just a few of my hobbies and as time goes on, I start to pick up new interests and hobbies here and there, such as brewing kombucha tea and craft beer brewing.

My hope is to continue to feature unique and interesting hobbies and things to do, to help you de-stress, unwind, relax, and enjoy life.

However, as you can probably guess, as time goes on, serious issues with space and clutter can arise by having so many interests and hobbies.

I also think its safe to assume that recent economic times and concerns for environmental footprint have found a large number of people out there living in a smaller space, or even one that they do not own outright as many may rent a small house, apartment, or flat. And your living situation may limit how you can accommodate the way you spend your free time with those hobbies you enjoy the most.

So as much as this site is going to be dedicated to showcasing interesting things you can do and enjoyable ways to spend your free time, it will also be dedicated to properly scaling your hobbies, maintenance, cleanliness, aesthetic, and storage so that your hobbies and interests do not take over your house, your loved ones, or your life.

These things are supposed to be about fun and foster creativity, expression, exploration and add value to your life. These activities should not create stress or issues for you or your loved ones about clutter, storage, and space.

So come along and let’s have some fun learning and exploring new things together. Its going to be a lot of fun.
